July 1st is observed as National Doctor’s Day every year, in remembrance of late Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy who was born on July 1st 1882 and died on July 1st 1962. Doctor’s Day is observed to pay tribute to the great physician Dr. B.C. Roy and the entire medical profession.
This year on July 1st the Health Club of the school organized a talk by Dr. Abdul Bari, Psychologist, Al-Arif Hospital, Trivandrum. He presented an informative speech focusing mainly on the problems related to adolescence. The students were given enough opportunities to raise their doubts and to share their problems. The doctor advised the best solutions to their problems. Students expressed their gratitude for the valuable information, advice given by Dr. Abdul Bari. The Vice Principal honoured him with a memento on behalf of the school.
