Alphia Fernandes, Grade 8 student of The Oxford School, won A Grade in Bharathanatyam and Folk Dance in the CBSE Sahodaya State Youth Festival 2019 held at Carmel CMI Public School, in Vazhakkulam, Ernakulam Dist from Nov 14 to 17. The Oxford School, Trivandrum secured 11 and 14th positions in Category 3 and 4, respectively, among 530 schools and 2000 participants in the Kalotsav. Competitions were held for 144 items under 4 categories. A total of 2000 participants from 570 CBSE schools under 24 Sahodayas participated.
