The Oxford School, Trivandrum’s Grade 4 student Saeed Jubair has been crowned with the ‘Kala Prathibha’ title at ‘Varnotsavam’, the State-level arts festival organised by the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare in connection
with the Children’s Day celebrations. The competitions were held at Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Thycaud. Saeed Jubair won first prize in Elocution (English), Recitation (English), and Essay Writing (English). Amina Jubair of Grade 12 won first prize in English recitation, English essay writing and second prize in English Elocution at the festival. On behalf of Saeed Jubair, Vice Principal of TOST Ms. Annie Francis received the award from Adv. Deepak S.P, General Secretary of the Council in a function held at Nishagandhi auditorium on November 14.
