Tribal walk to Kotoor forest by Health and Wellness Club of TOST

It was a journey to mother nature’s lap that students and teachers of The Oxford School at Kallattumukku has conducted a ‘Tribal Walk’ to the Kottoor forest. The program was jointly conducted by the Social Science department, Nallapadam club and, Health and Wellness Club of The Oxford school, Forest and Wildlife department, Cleaning Mission, Youth Welfare Board, and Kottoor Geetanjali Social Centre as part of the ‘Mazhanadatham’ program. Fifteen students and two teachers participated in the study tour.
Students collected plastic disposal, planted trees, distributed cloth bags and took a pledge for clean and safe environment. They also interacted with the tribals to know about their lifestyle and culture. The tribal chief was honoured with ponnada and other gift items including books. Cultural activities were also performed.
