The Oxford School, Trivandrum conducted the virtual Investiture Ceremony of Student Council for the academic year 2020-’21 on 7thSeptember 2020 Monday. A School Student Council was organized after the democratic virtual election on 24th August 2020. The virtual election created a sense of leadership qualities in the students and it’s embellished the feel of an active administrative body. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Rakhesh, Circle Inspector Fort Police Station Trivandrum. He valued the efforts taken in charge by the school in providing opportunities to the students to take constituent in the leadership activities. He also complimented the newly appointed School Student Council for their preparation to carry over the duties. He proposed the flag bearers use these opportunities and balance them well with faculty members to excel in both. The event was presided over by Dr. Abdul Salam, Principal of The Oxford School. He introduced the digital badges to the newly elected leaders. Adithya Krishna of XI AB (Head Boy), Parvathy Jayakumar of XII C (Head Girl), Siddeeque Jubair VIII A (Deputy Head Boy), Shreya Santhosh of IX A (Deputy Head Girl), Aminath Shaha of XII AB (Arts Captain), Arun Madhavan of XI C (Sports Captain) virtually received the badges and they were decorated with the Sachet Ribbon their parents.The Former head Muhammed Nazeer delivered the welcome speech and the newly elected Head Boy Adithya Krishna sounded off the vote of thanks.
